Hilary Mantel won
British author Hilary Mantel won the 2012 Man Booker literary prize for her novel "Bring Up The Bodies" in London on October 16, 2012.
Mantel made literary history by becoming the first woman and the first British author to become a two-time winner of the Man Booker Prize for fiction, one of the highest profile awards in English-language literature.
